Marshall, R. Mason
R. Mason Marshall, 93, of Monticello, formerly of Independence, died Sunday, June 19, 2011, at the Monticello Nursing and Rehab Center in Monticello.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; three sons, Ray (Rosanne) Marshall of Minden, Mich., David (Cheryl) Marshall of Anamosa, and Charles (Theresa) Marshall of Kansas City, Mo.; one daughter, Janet L. Siesseger of Leslie, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a good friend, Virginia Vela of Donna, Texas.
Memorial services at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, White Funeral Home, Independence. Disposition in the Ossuary at Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Monticello Rehab and Nursing Center or Above and Beyond Hospice, both in Monticello, Iowa.
