Adam M. Haht, 38, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, at his home. Memorial services at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. There will be a visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Sara; a son, Damek and a daughter, Addison, both at home; his mother, Marita Haht and a sister, Erin Haht, both of Cedar Rapids; an aunt and uncle, Linda and Roger Crowner of Littleton, Colo.; and aunt, Dee Ann Crowner of Cedar Rapids.
Adam was born on Aug. 29, 1980, in Estherville. He married Sara M. Hoffman on Oct. 10, 2014, in Cedar Rapids.
Adam was a mason and was a member of the Local Bricklayers Union, and worked in construction in the Cedar Rapids area for several years. He was a very talented artist who excelled in drawing and etching. He enjoyed the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team, being outdoors, camping, fishing, and especially the time spent with his beloved family and many friends. Adam will be forever remembered as a wonderful and caring husband, father, son, brother and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
