Little Caesars opening new Cedar Rapids restaurant

A new Little Caesars pizza restaurant is opening Wednesday in southwest Cedar Rapids.

Little Caesar Enterprises, Inc. announces a grand opening of its newest location at 2210 Edgewood Road SW, Suite 500 in Cedar Rapids, scheduled at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11.Jake Kennel, franchise co-owner, said “I am excited to bring this opportunity to the Cedar Rapids and Marion area.” Kennel, a former Marine sergeant, planned opening day to coincide with Veteran's Day and encourages area veterans to join him in the grand opening ceremonies. (Kennel was able to jumpstart his franchise with the assistance of the Little Caesar's veterans program which assists veterans with grants to become franchise owners.)“We will eventually be hiring 100+ employees to support all our locations.”The Edgewood Road location is the first of several stores scheduled to be open in the Cedar Rapids/Marion area.
