Monty Lumsden, 77, of Marion, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at his home. Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church in Scranton, Iowa, with burial in Scranton Township Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Dahn & Woodhouse Funeral Home in Scranton. A gathering of friends and time to share memories also will be held at the Lutheran Resurrection Church in Marion, Iowa, at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Karen (Hunter) Lumsden of Marion; sons, Dr. Todd Lumsden (Janice) of Jackson, Mo., and Scot Lumsden (Carol Johnson) of Marion; and a sister, Lynette Higby (Ron) of Rockford, Iowa.
