This election, ‘to thine own self be true’

Many times we are faced with a decision to choose to go one direction or the other. Do we choose the usually-taken political road or the road less traveled this election year?

Are you a lifelong committed Democrat? You will have a very clear choice this year to take the road less traveled, if ever you have. Open borders or secured borders? Sanctuary cities and states and catch-and-release? Tax increases or tax reductions? Mobs or jobs? Reducing the military budget or strengthening it? Impeach President Donald Trump and Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh? Step backward or keep moving forward?

Take that same much-traveled road you have always taken at election time if you wish. If you think it will be a vote for the party that is made of the same character and beliefs of JFK, that party no longer exists. Your party has changed drastically, and it is not for the better in my opinion.

It's hard to change lifetime voting habits, but if there was ever a time to do so, it is now. America is at a critical crossroad this election in state and congressional offices. Turn 'left” or turn 'right?” Take whatever path you choose this election, but lastly 'To thine own self be true.” You have the privacy of the voting booth to do so.
