Make conditions of C.R. roads a priority

I followed the expansive news coverage of the flood recovery over the past 10 years on television, newspaper and Facebook. There were many references to the vast number of improvements to the city that have taken place and will continue to happen, but there was no reference to the roads in our city. Why not?
I don't understand why the condition of our roads in Cedar Rapids is not a priority. Many of them are a disaster.
