Mary Kathleen "Pucci" Greif, 49, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, located at 3855 Katz Dr., Marion, IA 52302. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1790 14th St., Marion, IA 52302.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas of Cedar Rapids; her children, Candace and Jennifer Greif of Cedar Rapids, Kristi Greif of Portland, Ore., and Anthony Pucci of Iowa City; her twin brother, Ned Pucci of Rolling Meadows, Ill.; and in-laws, Arnold and Betty Greif of Central City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and favorite feline, Rascal.
Mary was born Feb. 3, 1966, in Oak Park, Ill., to Bruno and Madeline (Gorka) Pucci. She graduated from Lyons Township High School. She married Thomas Greif on June 6, 1987, in Western Springs, Ill. Mary obtained her BSN and MSN at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids. She was a dedicated nurse, and was awarded as one of the Top 100 nurses of Iowa. Mary touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mary's memory.
