Letter: Rod Blum is not keeping his word

I was interested to read in Sunday's Gazette how 1st District Rep. Rod Blum is putting into practice his recent campaign slogan that he is 'Working for you.”
During the very first week that Congress was in session, Blum voted against regulations that could protect children's health against dirty air, keep lead out of drinking water and help ensure the safety of nuclear reactors and power plants.
Yup, Eastern Iowa, Blum is 'working for you” all right, as long as your kids don't breathe, drink water or mind glowing in the dark.
