DONALD FLOCKHART

Donald Eugene Flockhart, 67, of Stanwood, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015, in his home from complications of lymphoma. Visitation for Don will be Monday, May 4, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Ron Lashmit will officiate. Burial will follow at the Stanwood City Cemetery.
Memorials should be designated to The Don Flockhart Family.

Don was born April 28, 1948, in Anamosa, Iowa, the son of Donald Roy and June Arlene (Bebber) Flockhart. Don graduated from Lincoln High School. He served in the United States Army and proudly fought in the Vietnam War. After his time in the service, Don worked construction for Skogman, Jim Hiens and Mike Rouse. Don married Carol Hines on Aug. 8, 2008. He was a member of the Stanwood Union Church and a lifetime member of the VFW.
Don is survived by his wife, Carol Hines of Stanwood; sons, Donnie Eugene (Angie) Flockhart of North Liberty, Jesse (Ashley Ericksen) Flockhart of Clarence and Louis (Ashley Petersen) Flockhart of Stanwood; sisters, Linda (Mike) Gesling of Mechanicsville, Peggy (Clinton Weinar) Flockhart of Anahuac, Texas, Leah (Brad) Young of Stanwood and Donna (David) Chappel of Mechanicsville; brothers, Kevin (Lisa) Flockhart of Stanwood and Wayne (Nicole) Flockhart of Clarence; grandchildren, Kolter Flockhart, Ashlyn Flockhart and Cyrus Flockhart; and step-grandson, Chandler Johnson.
