CEDAR FALLS (AP) - Cedar Falls police say five people were attacked with hammers and crow bars over the weekend.
Police say they found the victims after responding early Sunday to a report of an assault. Police say four people were taken to hospitals where they were treated and later released.
Police say three people were arrested and charged with five counts of assault and one count of going armed with intent.
They are identified as Elvedin Salihovic and Hajro Salihovic, both of Waterloo, and Muhamed Ibrahimovic, of Evansdale.
All three were taken to the Black Hawk County jail. The sheriff's office on Monday says all three were released after posting bond. Officials did not know if they had an attorney.
