Dandekar’s background well-suited to Congress

Swati Dandekar could become the first woman to represent Iowa in Congress.
Dandekar started her career in public service on the Linn-Mar School Board, so she understands education. As a former state senator and representative, she helped create wind energy jobs in Iowa while raising the state's minimum wage. She also worked on the Iowa Utilities Board, which oversees some federal regulations, making her the only candidate to have experience at the local, state and federal levels.
Well-qualified and diverse representation is vital to the health of a nation in bringing together different viewpoints and hashing out comprehensive policies. With diversity, government creates better legislation. Support Dandekar in Tuesday's primary.
