Eight players returning from last season: Nolan Zajac, Stu Wilson, Mike Holland, Tanner Pond, Ryan McGrath, Greg Amlong, Ian Brady and Nick Saracino. Zajac, Holland, Amlong and Brady are defensemen.

Riders GM/Head Coach Mark Carlson swung a trade earlier this week with the USHL's Sioux City Musketeers, acquiring goaltender Jake Hildebrand, who played last season with the Muskees. He is a Michigan State commitment.

That means three goalies on the roster: Hildebrand, Matt McNeely and Peter Traber.

Forward Anders Schultz also is a recent addition, joining the club from Denmark. He was at summer conditioning camp and replaces Raphael Kuonen as one of three non-American players on the roster. Kuonen was supposed to play here but signed a professional contract with a team in his home Switzerland instead.
