Interstate 380 cables are a death sentence

I am looking for an organization and/or an effective means of removing the 'kill a biker” cables along Interstate 380.
Even cages get totaled and/or become a coffin instead of a simple tow.
I don't recall a problem with motorists traveling from one side of the interstate to the other through the median (and I'm older than I-380).
Even if someone was to make it through the median, at least the oncoming traffic should be able to see the impending, possible danger coming and have time to react with appropriate countermeasures.
I'd rather have the chance to react than an automatic death sentence.
