Police: Couple stole tractor

Police arrested a man and woman from Iowa City Friday after the pair allegedly stole a tractor earlier in the month.

Officers said Todd Alan Bailey, 37, and Lori Diane Bollinger, 39, both of 206 Blackfoot Trail,  allegedly stole a John Deere lawn tractor from another Iowa City home on Oct. 17.

According to criminal complaints, Bailey took the tractor from a barn at 4811 Naples Ave S.W.  Bailey and Bollinger then towed the lawn tractor to their residence.

Police recovered the tractor at the couple's residence and after officers questioned Bollinger, she allegedly admitted to believing it was stolen. The tractor's value is estimated at $4,000.

Bailey was charged with third-degree burglary and second-degree theft and currently being held in Johnson County Jail on a $15,000 bond. Bollinger was charged with second-degree theft.
