Hess, Lucille M.
Lucille M. Hess, 91, of Marion, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009. A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
Survivors include her son-in-law, John Booze of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Laurie Sexton of Cedar Rapids, Julie (David) Houston of St. Michael, Minn., David Booze of Cedar Rapids and James (Tracey) Booze of Cedar Rapids; and great-grandchildren, Heather Sexton, Lauren Houston, Kyle Booze and Zach Booze.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse and daughter, Peggy Booze.
Lucille M. Daws was born Jan. 17, 1918, in Cresco, Iowa. She married James E. Hess on Aug. 2, 1948, in Iowa City. He died in 1982. Lucille worked at Rockwell Collins for 38 years before retirement.
