MARGARET DELORES WAUGH

Margaret Delores Waugh, 92, of Tipton, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Bickford Assisted Living, Davenport. Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Friday, June 10, at United Methodist Church, Tipton. Interment will follow at Tipton Masonic Cemetery.
A memorial fund in Marge's honor has been established.

Marge's life journey began June 4, 1924, in Lundgren, Iowa, where she was born to George and Irene Harrison. She attended and graduated from Fort Dodge High School with the Class of 1943. Marge married the love of her life, the late Eric "Bud" Waugh, in May 1948. They were later blessed with three children: Janet, David and Bruce.
Marge spent her employment years working with her husband at Bud's Super Value in Tipton for 33 years. When she wasn't keeping books at the store, she would often bake cookies for her family and friends.
Marge was a member of the United Methodist Church, Tipton, and Women's Circle.
Surviving Marge are her children, Janet (Brad) Johnson of California, David (Carolyn) Waugh of Davenport and Bruce (Michelle) Waugh of Manchester; sister, Fran Gunderson; brother, John Harrison; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sisters, Alice and Clary.
