Updates from Iowa's 40-10 win over No. 16 Nebraska in Friday's regular-season finale, as they happened.
1:55 4th: Iowa 40, Nebraska 10
A fitting way to cap this one.
LeShun Daniels surpassed 1,000 rushing yards for the season earlier on this final drive, then got into the end zone for the second time today with a 1-yard TD run.
11:13 4th: Iowa 33, Nebraska 10
Have a day, George Kittle. On Senior Day, no less.
The Iowa tight end, who was questionable to play entering this week with a foot injury, now has two touchdown catches in his final regular-season game.
A running-into-the-kicker penalty on Keith Duncan's 32-yard field goal kept the Iowa drive alive, then C.J. Beathard found Kittle for a six-yard TD.
7:47 3rd: Iowa 26, Nebraska 10
The Huskers are still in it.
Tommy Armstrong avoided pressure on 4th-and-10 and slung a pass over the middle to Stanley Morgan for a 13-yard touchdown.
With the extra point, it's a two-score game.
12:40 3rd: Iowa 26, Nebraska 3
Desmond King's 44-yard punt return, a season long, gave Iowa good field position for its first drive of the second half and the Hawkeye offense took advantage.
A quick three-play, 13-yard scoring drive, aided by a Nebraska personal foul on the punt return, was capped by C.J. Beathard's three-yard TD pass to tight end George Kittle on a play-action rollout.
After Nebraska was flagged for offside on the PAT, Iowa went for 2, but Beathard was stuffed trying to run it in.
7:49 2nd: Iowa 20, Nebraska 3
Akrum Wadley had his fun in the first quarter, now it's LeShun Daniels' turn.
The other Iowa running back broke free for a 54-yard run to the Nebraska 8, then Daniels punched it in from 4 yards out to put the Hawkeyes up 20.
9:57 2nd: Iowa 13, Nebraska 3
Nebraska drove 66 yards to the Iowa 19 but had to settle for a field goal after receiver Brandon Reilly slipped during a third-down pass.
Drew Brown converted the 35-yard field goal to get the Huskers on the board.
3:29 1st: Iowa 13, Nebraska 0
So much for Iowa's passing issues.
Quarterback C.J. Beathard hit Riley McCarron over the middle and the Hawkeye receiver had only turf in front of him up the right sideline.
The 77-yard touchdown (and converted extra point this time) put Iowa up 13-0.
RUGAMBA HURT
Iowa cornerback Manny Rugamba, who as a freshman only recently cracked the starting lineup because of an injury to Greg Mabin, had to leave the game with an injury of his own.

That puts Joshua Jackson in the game for the Hawkeyes. It's the second injury of the quarter. Fullback Drake Kulick was carted off after the second play.
4:55 1st: Iowa 6, Nebraska 0
Akrum Wadley, see ya later.
The Iowa running back gave Iowa a first-quarter lead with a juke and 75-yard touchdown run.
Wadley made one defender miss (badly) and he was gone. The extra point was blocked.
KULICK HURT
After one play, the cart is out for Iowa fullback Drake Kulick because of what looked like a lower left leg injury.
Kulick waved and gave a thumb's up to the Kinnick crowd as he was wheeled off the field.
Kulick is the preferred fullback. He'd graded better than Brady Ross the last couple of weeks. Probably kinks Iowa plan to run heavy.November 25, 2016
