Hare, Marian T.
Marian T. Hare, 86, of Independence, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012.
The daughter of Ross Newton Fairchild and Pearl (Lowrey) Fairchild, she married Frank Junior “Bud ” Hare Jan. 29, 1944 in Independence. Marian was a supervisor at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, where she worked for 24 years.
Marian is survived by her husband, Bud of Independence; one daughter, Sharon (Bud) Conrad of Independence; one son, Larry (Pat) Hare of Lewis, CO; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and one sister, Viva Hansen of Des Moines.
Preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Dwayne Fairchild; and one sister, Mary Eileen Moore.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at White Funeral Home, Independence, with burial at Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
