Letter: Country torn apart by Republican agenda

U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his allies in Congress have to be enjoying the fruits of their labor, watching the destruction of the Republican Party play out on TV as the country continues to be torn apart by their deliberate obstructionist agenda.
If Leader McConnell and his colleagues blame front-runner candidate Donald Trump, or others, for their party's devolution, they fail to understand the seeds of hatred and discontent they so intentionally and successfully planted.
Many of us would like to offer a plan for your survival: Why not hold another vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act, or refuse to consider President Barack Obama's nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court?
