Ellis, Elton Marvin
Elton Marvin Ellis, 86, of Manchester, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, at Cornerstone Community Church, by the Rev. Mary Green. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Manchester, and one hour before services at the church on Monday. Burial: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
Elton is survived by four children, James E. (Linda) Ellis of Ankeny, Shirley (Jim) McNamara of Cedar Rapids, Donald J. Ellis Sr. of Marion and JoAnn M. (Brian) Reimer of Marion; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; and two sisters, Goldie E. Koehne of Schaller, Iowa and Marilyn (Gene) Zumhof of Hot Spring Village, Ark.
Elton was preceded in death by his parents, Fay and Elsie Ellis; and his wife, Erma M. Ellis.
