Larae Blankenship, 56, of Cedar Rapids, died on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at her home with her family by her side.
A private family gathering is planned for later next summer.
Larae was born on Nov. 15, 1962, in Cherokee, Iowa, the daughter of Gary Patterson and Joan Gryp. She was a 1981 graduate of HLV High School in Victor.
