C. Virginia Fries, 92, of Good Samaritan Communities, Pipestone, Minn., died Saturday, March 14, 2015. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Virginia is survived by her children, Dr. Jim Fries of Sante Fe, N.M., Joe (Judy) Fries of Cedar Rapids, the Rev. John (Jeanne) Fries of Trenton, Mo., and Jennifer (Robert) Heitman of Hardwick, Minn.; and other family.
