Ferry, Todd Anthony James

Todd Anthony James Ferry, 44, chose to end his life on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at his home in Fort Madison, Iowa. The family will greet friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, June 4, with the funeral service to immediately follow at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Tim Ferry Jr. officiating, all at King-Lynk Funeral Home in Fort Madison. Burial will be held at a later date at Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone.

Todd was born Jan. 19, 1968, in Boone, Iowa to James and Terry (Hohanshelt) Ferry. He attended Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids and Indian Hills Community College, worked as IT manager at Catfish Bend Casino in Fort Madison for 17 years and recently started his own computer business. He was married to Sandy Bigger and they later divorced.

Todd is survived by his father and stepmother, James and Elizabeth Ferry of Swisher; his stepfather, Darrell Bochmann of Boone; sister, Jocelyn (Francis) Tonelli, and nieces, Cassi and Carly, of Waukee; stepbrother, Matt Lund of Cedar Rapids; and stepsisters, Dana (Polo) Cordero of North Liberty and Erin (Andy) Paul of Waynesboro, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Terry Jo Bochmann; his niece, Francesca Tonelli; and his beloved grandparents, Jack and Peg Hohanshelt and Mike and Onilee Ferry.

A memorial has been established in Todd's name.
