Plumb II, Robert
Robert Plumb II, 70, passed away June 26, 2012, at Briarwood Health Care Center, Iowa City, after a long illness.
Robert was born Sept. 15, 1941, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Helen and Robert Plumb Sr. He attended Iowa State University and later managed Times Photo and University Camera Stores. Robert was president and general manager of Autohaus, Inc. from 1978 to 1985 and worked in real estate until his retirement.
He is survived by his three children, Stacy (Chris) King of Carlsbad, Calif., Bryan (Rachel) Plumb of Round Lake, Ill., and Dana Plumb of North Liberty; five grandchildren, Colin and Brady King, Madelyn and Emma Plumb, and Sydney Schmooke; two sisters, Kathlyn (Bruce) Bramblett and Candace Plumb Peterson of Sedona, Ariz.; and aunt, Jewel Plumb of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private family inurnment will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Iowa City Hospice.
