PARIS MCGRATH CAPULET Marion Paris Michael McGrath Capulet passed away Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at the Iowa City VA Health Care System at the age of 58. Paris was born in Dubuque, Iowa, on March 6, 1956, and most recently lived in Marion. Paris grew up in Dubuque and attended Dubuque Senior High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school and proudly served his country for four years. Following his time in the Navy, Paris attended Loras College in Dubuque and Purdue University in Lafayette, Ind., earning a bachelor's degree from Loras College. In 1983, Paris and Laurie Woolf were married in Dubuque. They later divorced. During their marriage, Paris and Laurie brought their loving daughter, Madison McGrath, into the world. Paris is survived by his daughter, Madison McGrath; and his parents, Chester McGrath and Eunice McGrath. Also surviving are Paris' siblings, Tami (Allan) Pierson, Tania (George) Aboud, Troy McGrath and Marymichael McGrath; in addition to many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Paris' remains have been cremated and laid to rest at the Rock Island Arsenal National Military Cemetery in Rock Island, Ill.
