KCRG-TV9 was honored as a 2011 Friends of Extension by the Iowa chapter of Epsilon Sigma Phi, a national honorary extension fraternity. KCRG-TV9, Cedar Rapids has partnered with ISU Extension since 1994 to inform and educate viewers on a wide range of consumer issues including nutrition, food safety, gardening, landscaping, home and personal safety, resource management, youth development, parenting and family life.

New business

Dubuque natives Dennis Hartig and Susan Sudermann have developed a new game, Forty Below: The Game. Initially the game will be available at Hartig Drug and Theisen's stores. More information can be found at www.fortybelowthegame.com.
