Spring photos from friend of the program

These photos are from Justin Scott of Waterloo, good friend of "On Iowa."
He took a bunch of photos from the front row of Kinnick Stadium during Saturday's scrimmage, including a handful of wide receivers coach Erik Campbell. I'm giving Justin credit for foreshadowing, with the pair of wide receiver commitments the Hawkeyes picked up Monday night and Tuesday morning (Marcus Grant and JaCorey Shepard).
Thanks to Justin for the photos. It's going to be spring football here for a while (hey, why not at least another day or so).
I should note that I wrote the captions. So, don't blame the blatant editorializing on Justin.
Thanks to Justin, by the way. Feel free anyone to e-mail photos or scoops or whatever Hawkeye material you'd like (
Close up of Iowa DE Adrian Clayborn from Saturday's scrimmage. (Justin Scott)
Wide receiver Derrell Johnson-Koulianos converses on the sideline. He caught one pass for 32 yards Saturday. (Justin Scott)
DE Broderick Binns gets his hands on QB James Vandenberg during the scrimmage. DT Karl Klug would've gotten there, too. (Justin Scott)
QB Ricky Stanzi beats the rush and completes a pass for America during Saturday's scrimmage. (Justin Scott)
This is D-line coach Rick Kaczenski. His hat has been lived in. (Justin Scott)
You can't start working the refs early enough, as shown here by Iowa receivers coach Erik Campbell. Kidding, of course. Campbell had a couple WR prospects into Iowa's spring the last couple weeks and picked up a pair of commitments. Marcus Grant committed Monday and JaCorey Shepard said yes Tuesday morning. (Justin Scott)
Here's safety Tyler Sash and DT Christian Ballard. Sash is the one on the right. He was out for spring after shoulder surgery. He looked fine, though, and will be ready in the fall. (Justin Scott)
Here's Jewel Hampton. He didn't participate in spring practice, but will be good to go this fall. He suffered a torn ACL last June and is on his way back. (Justin Scott)
Let's just call this photo 'star power.' (Justin Scott)
Newly minted men's basketball coach Fran McCaffery and wife Margaret visited the spring scrimmage. This might actually be his stand in. Dude is busy recruiting and hiring a staff. Good luck, guy! (Justin Scott)
What do you think is on the mind of tight end recruit C.J. Fiedorowicz? Maybe he heard my question about him? (Justin Scott)
Remember this guy? He was only your leading rusher last season. Yes, it's Adam Robinson. He was out of spring practice after offseason shoulder surgery. Where do you see him this fall? (Justin Scott)
Here's senior wide receiver Don Nordmann, who had a good reason to smile after the scrimmage. He led all receivers with five catches for 49 yards. He's fighting for some PT, and as a fifth-year senior walk-on, you should be rooting for him. (Justin Scott)
No need for introductions. (Justin Scott)
