Betty Jane Krotz, 79, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Monday, March 6, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, with Richard Guenther officiating.
Betty was born Nov. 29, 1937, the daughter of Charles and Elsie (Dimond) Fee, in Iowa City. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1955. Betty greatly enjoyed being a mother and taking care of her children.
Survivors include her two sons, Edward Lee Krotz and Frank Wesley Krotz; four grandchildren, Matthew Krotz, Danial Krotz, Mary Mae Krotz and Christie Ann Krotz; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Emil Krotz; daughter, Mary Jane Krotz; and parents.
