Kurt Warner: Back in Iowa and Tweeting away
Mike Hlas May. 20, 2010 3:42 pm
Kurt Warner, of NFL stardom and Cedar Rapids roots, became a Twitter-user recently.
That in itself isn't news, but Warner actually uses the social media tool to express himself and say things instead of spouting incomprehensible babble or being a total self-promoter.
Here are some examples of Warner's Tweets at this address:
Why does everyone think I am coming back? Do I have the wrong definition of 'retirement' or has it been changed in recent years?
My daughter just told me she got her 'license to multiply' - she's only 9, so hoping that is a math thing! Congrats, dad is proud of u!
Been waiting for this one! RT @MPH317: Unconfirmed reports that Hy-Vee will retire @kurt13warner blue-apron this weekend when he's in Iowa.
(Warner is in Iowa right now. He will be in Des Moines Friday to be honored at the Iowa Barnstormers' Arena League game, and to do color commentary as part of the NFL Network's broadcast team along with ex-Hawkeye quarterback Paul Burmeister.)
I always wanted to be a Super hero, because of Super powers... now I just want to be a hero bec of how I live not the powers i possess!
My conclusion: A hero has conviction about something, courage to stand, is selfless, and willing to sacrifice for that cause... thoughts?
If I am seeing dble and tell 'both' of my wives that they look great, shouldn't I get dble credit? Need as many pts as possible!
No offense to IA, love the people, but gray rainy weather reminds me of why we love Az so much! But excited for game tomorrow night (7pm)
