MARGARET LOUISE PERRIN

Margaret Louise Perrin, 97, of Plymouth, Minn., formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away quietly on May 24, 2018, in her room at Cornerstone Long Term Care Facility in Plymouth.
Margaret was born to Harry and Elsie (Smith) Horrocks in Mystic, Iowa, on March 24, 1921. She was married to Corbin Allen Perrin on Feb. 3, 1940, in Unionville, Mo.
Margaret worked for Iowa State Employment Service for almost 25 years. She was a former member of the Central Park Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Allen Perrin; her husband, Corbin Perrin; her parents, Harry and Elsie Horrocks; and her brother, Jack Horrocks.
She is survived by her two sons, Gary Ray (Denise) Perrin and Dennis Dean (Desiree) Perrin; grandchildren, Bradley Allen Perrin, Christine (Perrin) Shyne, Stephanie (Perrin) Martin, Trevor Perrin and Phillip Perrin; and great-grandchildren, Axel Martin, Dexter Martin, Taylor Perrin, Selah Perrin and Corbin Perrin and Perrin Shyne and Fiona Shyne.
There will be an informal service conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Margaret will be laid to rest next to her husband, Corbin Perrin, in Linwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Margaret's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
