Whiting, LeRoy Curtis
LeRoy Curtis Whiting, 96, of Clive, died Sunday, July 31, 2011, in the Urbandale Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Brooks Funeral Care, 7975 University Blvd., Clive. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, near Van Meter. Friends may call beginning at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the VA Health Care System in memory of LeRoy Whiting, 3600 30th Street, Des Moines, IA 50310.
