Margery M. Curtis, 92, of Marion, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital. Graveside services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Per Margery's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Larry of Cedar Rapids and Lorton of Olathe, Kan.; a sister, Barbara Shriver of Sunset, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Joyce Keys.
Margery was born Dec. 5, 1924, in Mediapolis, the daughter of M. Lee and Anna Martin Blake. She married Lorton H. "Joe" Curtis on March 16, 1945, in Burlington. Joe passed away in 2010.
Margery was in test repair at Collins Radio and retired from there after 30 years of service. She enjoyed working all types of puzzles, was an avid reader and was a meticulous record keeper.
Margery was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
