Michael E. Harvey, 58, died Friday, March 11, 2011, at his residence in Lamont from ALS. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, at Grace United Methodist Church, Lamont. Burial: Cass Township Cemetery, Strawberry Point. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Fawcett Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lamont and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Surviving family includes his wife, Paula of Lamont; rented stepchildren, Nick (Betsy) McTaggart of Arlington, Sarah (Jerry) Boyd of Evansdale and Tina (Jeremy) Hummel of Waterloo; stepgrandchildren, Kalyn and Keegan McTaggart and Jerry and Jessica Boyd; three grandkitties, Gandolf, Gracie and Ginxy; sisters, Linda Trettin of Strawberry Point, Cathy (Paul) White of Earlville and Michelle (Bryan) Horstman of Peosta; three sons, Shawn (Sarah) Keller of Dallas, Texas, Joshua (Jaime) Keller of Marion and Heath Keller currently in northern Afghanistan; and grandchildren, Grant, Sadie, Devan, Megan and Riley.
