Donald Daniel Bizek, 80, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, in Heritage Nursing & Rehab. Services: 3 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel, where a visitation will begin at 2 p.m. The Rev. William B. Harnish will officiate. Burial: St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
Survivors include a sister, Dalene Grant of Lisbon; three nephews; a cousin; and a friend, Steven Smith of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Dorothy Reynolds; and a brother, Duane Bizek.
Donald was born Nov. 9, 1933, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Daniel and Blanche (Koss) Bizek.
He was a great friend to all and will be greatly missed.
