Friends and colleagues gathered Wednesday to celebrate the life of legendary Cedar Rapids broadcaster Bob Brooks Wednesday at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids. You can watch a replay of the event above. The following speakers are featured:

Bill Happel, Former Cedar Rapids Washington and University of Iowa football standout
John Streif, Former Iowa assistant athletic trainer
Peter Brooks, Bob's grandson
Gary Dolphin, Iowa foootball, men's basketball radio play-by-play commentator
Phil Haddy, Former Iowa sports information director
Greg Seyfer, Cedar Rapids Kernels president
Brooks covered just about every sport in a career that spanned seven decades, including the University of Iowa, local high schools and Cedar Rapids minor league baseball.
He died at 89 on June 25.
