Charles V. Smith, 72, of 9481 Placid Rd., Epworth, died 7:09 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at Finley Hospital in Dubuque after a sudden illness. Services for Charles will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Epworth. Friends and relatives of Charles may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, at Reiff Funeral Home in Epworth.
