Wildeman, Henry B.
Henry B. Wildeman, 88, of Village Ridge in Marion, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital after a sudden illness. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at King of Kings Lutheran Church where friends may call after 2 p.m. The Rev. Mark Halvorson will officiate. Iowa Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three daughters, Diana (John) Lensch of Marion, Linda (Alan) Anderson of St. Charles, Ill., and Connie Mays of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Leonard of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; and two sisters, Johanna Klarenbeek and Leona Harmsen, both of Rock Rapids.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, Adam Anderson, Camille Walker, Anna Mosier, Erin Cullnan and Daniel Lensch; and two great grandchildren, Allison Miller and Sarah Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, William and Arthur.
Henry was born Nov. 14, 1923, in Boyden, the son of Leonard and Hendrika Roelofs Wildeman. He married Phyllis Delfs on Jan. 18, 1945, in Rock Rapids. After retirement, they moved to Marion. Phyllis died in 2009. Henry was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church. He enjoyed music, playing cards and games, riding motorcycle with Phyllis and spending time with his beloved family.
