Lorena C. Swanson, 92, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at the funeral home. Interment: Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton.
Lorena is survived by her husband, Burland Swanson of Vinton; one son, James Edward (Jodene) Ludden of Vinton; three daughters, Melva Jean (George Hand) Marovec and Mary Jo (Bill) Guider, both of Vinton, and Sue (Scott) Dunkel of Newhall; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established.
