One killed in Marshalltown crash

One man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Marshalltown, police said.
Officers responded to the crash in the 600 block of Summit Street around 1:50 a.m. Thursday.
Two men were in the vehicle. Responders took the driver to the hospital, and the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
Police are not yet releasing the names of those involved.
