Sally De Heaton, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, July 12, 2012. Funeral services were Saturday, July 14, at Breeze Park Resident Center in St. Charles, Mo. Interment will be Sunday at Floral Hills Cemetery in Hazleton near Oelwein, where Sally and Virgil lived for many years.
Survived by her husband, Virgil Heaton, she is the mother of Mike (Sam), Steve (Melinda), Tim (Kris) and Sue (Chuck Jorenby); grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of two.
Sally's true love and passion in life was her family. Sally was very active in the resident committees at Breeze Park and had a career for many years as a registered nurse.
