Taylor, Scott A.
Scott A. Taylor, 60, of Zwingle, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, Nov 13, 2012, at Finley Hospital, Dubuque. A public visitation celebrating Scott's life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids. A graveside service will follow in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his loving wife, Linda (Lindy); children, Dawn Taylor of Zwingle and Capt. Danny Taylor, U.S. Air Force, of Las Vegas; and siblings, Ric (Jody) Taylor of Hampshire, Ill., and Laurie (Blair) Bryant of Glendora, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gregg Taylor.
Scott Arthur Taylor was born June 15, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Richard and Patricia (Seymour) Taylor. He graduated from Washington High School in 1971 and Iowa State University in 1975. On Sept. 20, 1980, he married Linda R. DeReus in Cedar Rapids. From 1980 to 2007, Scott worked as a manufacturing engineer for Barnstead Thermolyne and most recently drove chartered buses.
He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
