Iowa football bowl projections: Where the Hawkeyes are picked after loss to Wisconsin
Gazette staff
Nov. 15, 2017 12:00 pm
Iowa's 55-24 demolition of then-No. 6 Ohio State threw a wrench into the Big Ten's College Football Playoff chances, a performance that had many across the country thinking the Hawkeyes could derail unbeaten Wisconsin's climb up the rankings.
And then, 66 yards of total offense happened.
Iowa (6-4, 3-4), though, closes the season with Purdue and Nebraska — both 4-6 teams fighting to keep their bowl hopes alive this week — thus will be favored to get to 8-4.
Prognosticators this week see trips to the Foster Farms Bowl, Music City Bowl and Pinstripe Bowl as possibilities.
Jerry Palm, CBS Sports: Music City vs. Missouri
Kyle Bonagura, ESPN: Foster Farms vs. Washington
David M. Hale, ESPN: Foster Farms vs. Washington State
Eric Single, Sports Illustrated: Music City vs. Texas A&M
Bill Bender, Sporting News: Pinstripe vs. Virginia
Jason Kirk, SB Nation: Pinstripe vs. Boston College
College Football News: Foster Farms vs. Washington State
