Dubuque to break ground on new ice arena

Looks like Nov. 2 is the scheduled date for the new arena, which will house a United States Hockey League team. We told you about that way back in the summer.
The arena will hold about 3,200 folks and will be called the Mystique Ice Center, after the Mystique Casino, which donated $1 million toward the $6.2-million project.
Man, it'll be nice to have Dubuque back in the league. Adds to the natural rivalries list for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, though I doubt it'll be as intense as the Cedar Rapids-Waterloo rivalry.
