C.R.'s Carlson to coach in international tourney

Cedar Rapids RoughRiders head coach/general manager/owner Mark Carlson will again be the head coach for a United States team at the World Junior A Challenge international hockey tournament Nov. 1-8 in Prince Edward Island, Canada.
Indiana Ice head coach/GM Jeff Blashill and Sioux Falls Stampede assistant coach Andy Jones will be Carlson's assistants for the team, which will be comprised strictly of United States Hockey League players. Carlson led the U.S. team to a gold medal at last year's Challenge.
The World Junior A Challenge is in its fourth year. The participants this year will be the U.S., Belarus, Canada East, Canada West, Russia and Sweden.
