Vivian M. Lewis passed away April 3, 2017, one week after her 93rd birthday. Per Vivian's wishes, a formal memorial service will not be held.
Vivian was born on the family farm on March 27, 1924, the daughter of T. Orland and Neva Lewis. She spent her life on the farm with the exception of her time served in the Navy during World War II.
She is survived by her sisters, Marie and Mary of California; and her brother, Norman and wife Colleen of Cedar Rapids.
Vivian always had a special place for Norman's kids, Teri, Pam, Sue and Matt, and she was very special to them.
The world would be a better place if every child had an aunt who packed a picnic and spent the afternoon in the timber with them, listening to the wind, the talk and most importantly, the quiet. Thank you, Aunt Viv, we will miss you.
