GENERAL MILLS PRODUCTION EMPLOYEES
General Mills is recruiting production employees for its Cedar Rapids plant. As a production worker, you will have equipment operation, cleaning and simple maintenance responsibilities on a high-speed manufacturing system.
Production worker requirements:
· Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to be employed in the U.S.
· Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Additional technical education/training is desirable.
· Must have previous production experience. Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
· Must possess strong technical and interpersonal skills.
· Physically able to lift moderately heavy weights.
· Willing to work any shift in any department including announced and unannounced overtime.
· Willing to comply with grooming/sanitation requirements.
· Must satisfactorily pass a physical exam, including a drug screen, and background inquiry.
· Must work comfortably in a team environment that requires continued development of new skills,
interaction with all personnel, attention to personal accountability and productivity improvement.
