Letter: Bank’s kindness brought much joy

At this busy/stressful time of the year with office parties, gift exchanges (that are usually items that you don't want or need) and potluck meals, here is something that will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and renew your faith in mankind.
One branch of U.S. Bank (Council Street) decided to forgo their office festivities and instead 'adopt” a family in need. The children didn't ask for cellphones or I-Pads, but wanted puzzles, books and Legos. The mother requested cleaning supplies (which can be pricey when trying to stretch a dollar).
At the end of the day, I'll bet the bank employees felt as much joy as did the recipients of their kindness. God bless.
