Mike Hlas Apr. 30, 2010 11:17 am
Paddy O'Prado, the horse owned by a cartel that consists 90 percent of Iowans, will carry National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame jockey Kent Desormeaux in Saturday's Kentucky Derby.
Desormeaux had the reins with Big Brown when that horse won the Derby and the Preakness in 2008, and has been aboard three Derby winners since 1998.
Last year, he rode Summer Bird to victory in the Belmont Stakes.
Bodog.com lists Paddy O'Prado at 15-to-1 as of mid-day Tuesday.
