Who are the leaders stepping up?

When this coronavirus epidemic is behind us, we as a country will have a discussion on what we did right and what we need to do better next time. Leaders who stood head and shoulders above their peers will be recognized for surrounding themselves with experts who told us the unvarnished truth. These leaders are the ones who were always two steps ahead of the virus, willing to shut down schools and businesses and accept the temporary pain that comes with that.
Their messaging was always consistent and factual, telling us what we needed to do and what to expect. They were compassionate for everyone involved but aggressive in making sure the medical profession were supplied with N95 masks, face shields and other safety equipment so they could do their job safely. They did what they could to ease the financial pain of the people put out of work and help our businesses survive the tough times the coronavirus pandemic put them thru.
It is in our best interest to help our leaders, our community, our neighbors, our family and friends by following all the safety rules recommended.
