Three charged in Iowa City break-in

Three men were arrested early this morning after police say they broke into an Iowa City loan business.
Police responded to an alarm at Money and More, 1025 S. Riverside Dr., at 2:50 a.m. today and found a broken window. An officer saw a suspicious vehicle leaving the area and relayed information to other officers, and the vehicle was stopped a short time later near the intersection of Benton Street and Greenwood Drive. Police also found a crow bar and broken glass inside the vehicle.
The three men inside the car have all been charged with third-degree burglary and possession of burglar's tools:
- Wally Patheuangsin, 19, of 2401 Hwy 6 #3806, Iowa City;
- Luis Octavio Cardona, 18, of 519 S. Scott Blvd., Iowa City; and
- Deontae Dupree Pierre, 18, of 1934 S. Ridge Dr., Coralville
